Window Blinds And Shades Side Mount Example
If you are going to install window blinds or shades in an angletop window, you need to assemble side-mount brackets together.

The only kind of ready-made side mount brackets are the box-shaped end brackets used for wood blinds, faux wood blinds, 2" aluminum blinds, or aluminum mini blinds (older style brackets).

The whole assembly consists of a right-angled bracket, a mounting bracket (that comes with the blinds or shades), and two screws with nuts for each. Usually, if you request a side-mount installation kit, the manufacturer will include everything necessary to carry out the installation without missing parts.
