| An Angletop Faux Wood Blind With A Valance |
As you can see, the blind is installed parallel with the angled-top part of the window frame. The brackets and other hardware are exactly the same as they are for a typical horizontal installation. The faux wood blinds for this installation came with a matching valance cut on an angle at both ends. You can see an example of the cuts at the left bottom end of the valance.
The blind is on the left side of a multi-window wall. Notice the controls (the tilt wand and 2 lift cords with wooden tassels) are on the left (the lower end of the faux wood blind).
It is a requirement to create an accurate window template with measurements for the manufacturer to assure a perfect fit.
So, how do they do it at the top part of the blind to transition from the window's top angle into horizontal-running faux wood slats?

The picture above shows you the number of transition slats. They gradually slope less and less until they become horizontal. The middle lift cord and the middle support ladder at the the headrail gather and hold the short transition slats together.
At the upper right corner, there's the other end of the valance cut on an angle to match the geometry of the window frame and casing.
