Woven Wood Shades With Groomed Edges
The latest technologies for making window blinds have come a long way.
Besides natural-looking imitation materials (you'd swear they're real), natural materials are amongst the choices that you have to pick from. The kinds of blinds or shades available in natural materials include real wood blinds, some roller shades, vertical wood blinds, and bamboo window shades or bamboo curtains, a.k.a. woven woods.
Made of natural materials, the woven wood shades example below shows you a "clean look" option.

Woven Wood Shades have usually a nice finished look regardless of the materials used for the "shade" part. Some customers, though, still prefer an even cleaner and decorative finish around the edges on their shades. In this example, notice a wide cloth edging sewn on around the shade.

What's a "privacy liner"?
It's an additional layer of material, often a white or off white fabric. The material is attached to the shade on the window side. The liner performs a light-filtering function for the shade.
Just like in this example …
