Provide a good clean look for larger windows while controlling the view and incoming light

Inside mounts must accommodate the standard 3.5” vane width to allow for full functionality for both stacking the vanes to one or both sides and provide unobstructed rotation space for the vanes (watch out for those "mullions", or strips of wood, between window panes)
The vanes can be made out of vinyl, cloth or a mixture of the two, and gather very little dust
Most customers pick fabric-type vanes (depending on the quality of fabric, vertical blinds may cost as much as wood blinds)
Sewn-in weights are preferable to the flimsy weight-insert type with chains at the bottom of each vane
Valances are available with each order for both inside & outside mounts; they cover the upper rail (take a closer look at an installation of vertical blinds to have an idea what different parts look like for this type of blind)
