Cordless Wood Blinds With A Remote Motorized Tilt
Did you know you can get two cool options available for wood blinds?
What would you do if you wanted to have real wood blinds without rout holes, lift cords, and some of your windows were about 10 - 12 feet high, or even higher?

Here's what you can do:
- Get classic 2" wood blinds finished to blend with your home decor
- Ask for a cordless option on your order (the rout holes will be missing in the individual slats because there would be no need to run the lift cords through them - you'd get what's called a "de-lite" option that keeps even more light out)
Without lift cords, the wood blinds have a winch-type gizmo built in the headrail that manages the slat support ladders' recoil and stretch. By holding onto the bottom rail, push up and the wood blinds stack up; pull and the blind opens down the length of your window. The stack also stops anywhere you want it to (just like if the wood blinds had lift cords). - To solve the window height problem around being able to regulate the view and incoming light, there are three ways to control the wood slats tilt.
The two economical ways are the classic wand or cord tilt options. From the aesthetic angle, the cord tilt blends better with the surroundings than the extra long wands for higher windows (there's also a limit on how long the wands can be made by a manufacturer).
And the third way of controlling the tilt is a remote control, motorized option.

In the above picture you can see from left to right (on the headrail):
- A Wind-Rewind Winch For A Cordless Option
- A Hand-Held Remote Control For A Motorized Tilt (powered by three "AA" batteries)
- A Cassette of 4 "AA" Long-Life Batteries (that power the tilting motor)
- A Tilting Motor (in the white plastic casing)
- Infrared Receiver Antenna (the white wire)
By using the hand-held remote control, the wooden slats tilt from open to closed positions, and stop anywhere in between when the command reaches the tilting motor powered by the 4 "AA" batteries.
So, remember this option when planning your purchase - wood blinds with a power tilt
