Hi Samantha.

With this type of wood blind, a customer can usually lift the slats only up the the angles
of the window (before the sides start to converge into the peak.

Sometimes, lifting and dropping the slats using the lift cord has a bit more resistance
than a regular horizontal blind (because of the angle the headrails have).

Also, because of the headrail angles, it's necessary to bring to cords
A LOT into the window side in order to unlock the clutch - so that the slats
would travel from up to down (as opposed to a horizontally-mounted blind where
the cords hang perpendicular to the headrail).

Depending on how the blind is made, a client can also tilt the slats ... or tilt slats only.
Tilting can be done manually - cord or wand tilters... or by using a remote (remote tilt option).

We've installed these blinds made by Levolor and Hunter Douglas - that's who
makes them.

Can you tell me if your Versatile Wood Blinds In A High Peaked Window
can actually be raised, so the occupant can have uninterupted views. In the same way as conventional blinds. We have two clients were we have used a large peaked window and both need window solutions. Could you please email me with your answer or send me a discriptive brochure.
Thankyou.
